There's a universal fact that makes us similar, and a universal thought that makes us different in a sense that's quite impressive. Us, humans or people which ever you prefer to use, are descendants of the same parents, yet we come in different colours and different places with different beliefs. Believe it or not, our beliefs are what's making us different. Imagine going on a trip around the world, the best part of that journey will be you experiencing different cultures, seeing different places and exploring different beliefs. Wanting to know what other people's beliefs are is out of respect for them because you would want to know what is alright and what is not in terms of clothing's, gestures and so forth.
Regardless of us being different individuals in many aspects, we still have that one point that makes most of us similar, we care about one another. Not in any weird or odd point that is, we're considering the relative aspect of "caring" and that is when your parents point out a con you should maybe try and work on changing, or a beautiful trait you should work on keeping and developing. As humans, it is of our very natural feelings to like someone saying good phrases about us, it's how we are, we simply like being praised, like being in the spotlight every once in a while. On the contrary, we do not really like being told that something we do is not really polite and in better terms, not right. That is where you should pay very good attention because not everyone is going to do that to you, though everyone is going to praise you even with the slightest gesture you do. It is the people that do not praise you and point out that there's something you should work on changing are the ones that you should keep close and respect that most because they are the ones that care.
When it comes to being pointed out, you fall into deep thoughts of conflict, "how can that be disrespectful?" or thinking something like "but what did I do wrong?". Well this is where others come into the picture, it was proven that people by nature see themselves as semi-perfect people and everything they do is right and fits the picture, they also happen to consider others that do not think like them and do not agree to what they have to say as being "aliens" for a better example. Well, that's basically the reason we're different. The people that care the most about you are the ones that are going to tell you about that one thing you should maybe try and not do, or maybe try to avoid saying to others, although you find absolutely no problem with but others actually help you point out the flaws that will make you a better person. Maybe you should work on changing the way you react to things, that could sound odd but maybe you're reacting in a way that makes it look like a war just broke out, and that implies "overreacting" in a sense. Maybe you should work on becoming a better listener to other and not just want to be the one talking and force others to listen to you. You see if you look at it from all perspectives, you are not perfect in any sense, as a matter of fact none of us as perfect, ever. But that does not mean we do not work on making ourselves better people. Every single day that passes by is never coming back, it's another chance from God to make yourself change into becoming better, into living better, and most importantly into appreciating the people that helped you fixing your flaws in some sense, it might hurt at first, but do bare this in mind once and for all, it's for your own good.
Those who want to change are really those that are living in satisfaction and pleasure, because they are not sticking to that same old boring self they are ever single day with no "updates" in any sense, they're the ones running this world.
