"Keep it simple stupid"
That's what they always say, teachers, parents, professors and whoever. Just keep it simple and get to the point.
He, on the other hand, preferred elaborating the most. He always made sure to answer whatever question he got to the maximum by explaining his understanding of the question. He always ended his explanation with an example of his own just to clarify things.
He found that very normal, but others made sure to "just get to the point". He accepted the fact that he wrote a book about his answer, but he also knew that he was supposed to just get to the point. The good thing was he knew his problem and he knew what to work on, although that would require sometime.
The bottom line is, as long as you acknowledge your problem then that's a good enough starting point for you to work on improving it to the better. No one will walk up to you and say "You've got a problem, let's fix it" Don't ever expect that because it's never going to happen (unless rarely) .
As long as you're aware of it, then work on it.
