I’ve never seen a movie that happens to be a sequel to a previous one be done so perfectly. It’s like I was watching the entire movie and not a new part for that matter. That got me hooked even more towards the second part and I was just impressed by how the actions continue at the beginning of the second movie ..boy that was amazing. Not to mention the cameo Mr Peter Jackson has done right at the beginning as well !!
I never thought I’d come to like the Hobbit although I’m a huge fan of the set and plot and everything, but it really has become done of my favourite. Surprisingly the second part felt really short compared to the first part maybe that’s because they were already so close to the Mountain and the Dragon so I guess that’s the reason,
My heart started to break when Kili was shot in the leg and began to get super weak right before the Dwarves set off to the mountain…god that was such a heartbreaking scene where I came to know that Thorin is the uncle of the brothers…boy such a heart-breaking scene :(
Another scene was when Bilbo was about to leave the Dragon’s hall and Thorin catches him and asks about the stone…for a split second it felt like I was in Bilbo’s shoes when Thorin suddenly showed signs of betrayal. Props to that really.
The ending was fit for it, when Bilbo says “ What have we done” and the thought of Gandalf’s capture suddenly flashes in mind.
Loved it till the death of the last Orc in the movie..ew
Cheers,
Cheers,
