The Louvre Abu-Dhabi Museum

On Tuesday I was blessed to attend a really interesting lecture that talked about Art History, Cultures and pretty much history related art.Throughout the talk the "Louvre Museum" is something I must share here.

Check out this for more information about the Museum. Anyways, what caught my attention is the uniqueness of the museum which already has a branch in Paris. Now I've always loved museums and have always been fond of everything historical and artistic like from the middle-ages and basically everything that goes back in time, what really got me all excited about this Louvre Museum here in Abu-Dhabi was the fact that this museum is going to have a collection of historical pieces and great painting from all around the world and from most cultures, isn't that cool? During the presentation introducing the museum, images of the same art, or portrait was shown in 2 different ways reflecting 2 different cultures and that shows a lot in terms of uniqueness and in terms of having something that belongs to you regardless of sharing common values/aspects. I really liked that in terms of bringing different cultures together and bridging the gap.

Now, moving on to talking about the magnificent "Musée du Louvre" of great France, it times back to 1792, as in the pit of great historical time! Now that is really GRAND! Something you'd love to spend ..days visiting to get enough of. I hope I get to visit someday and experience the greatness of that place.
