Nicci French - Tuesday's Gone

0

September 6th, 2014

Like I said before, the Nicci French series was my very first time reading "Mystery" and I never thought I was going to LOVE it. I just finished reading the second book in the "Frieda Klein" series and boy what a cliff hanger!! Yet again I was very impressed with Frieda's character, although in this book she was very underestimated and humiliated.

The intense highlight of the entire book was really the very ending when she got stabbed by Beth Kersey. I excepted Yvette to not take Frieda's emergency call seriously, it was very like her but still Frieda couldn't get reach Karlsson. That twist got me off my chair and I literally couldn't stop reading till the very end. When Frieda emphasised on the idea that Dean Reeve was still alive everyone thought she was insane and everyone started to ..doubt her? I mean if she were to tell me Dean Reeve was still alive I would really believe her and be very scared!!

After all she's done the least they can do for her is take her seriously because she's done way too much for a Psychiatrist.

How were the Welles siblings accused .. I have no idea but it's marvellous. I mean I couldn't think of them as murderers.. but with that incident with Michelle Doyce.. sweet! I wonder what's going to happen to them and who this Robert Poole is.. at some point I thought he could be Dean Reeve but the thing is Poole is actually dead and why was he killed? Still a mystery!!

God I'm loving these books!! A thousand thumbs up!!
