The Hobbit: The battle of the five armies

January 21st , 2014

I was finally given the chance to watch the final movie in the Hobbit trilogy. Well I had to treat myself with something good after a long LONG Fall semester right.

Anyways, so last night I finally watched the last part in the hobbit's trilogy and boy wasn't that grand?

I've watched the "Desolation of Smaug" back in August 2014, and couldn't wait for the last part so I decided to watch the trailer that was out for "The Battle of the five armies" and darn the comments that spoiled the whole thing for me. I mean I watched the trailer and couldn't help but scroll down and read the comments and like the readers of this trilogy they spoiled the finale. I was told everyone, literally everyone would die. Holding that spoiler for months now, I was super happy that not everyone dies, but that doesn't mean I didn't cry a river for the ones that actually died. Since this is my personal blog, then I think I have the right to express how depressed and devastated I got at the scenes where Kili and Fili got killed! Then came the part where Thorin got stabbed after killing the head of the Orcs, I mean why...WHY? Bilbo just broke my heart and not just that, it was and awful ending to the 3 part journey. I mean throughout the entire series all the dwarves were together with Bilbo & Gandalf, then at the very end when they got their hometown back, the main players in that game are dead. Bless their little dwarf hearts but that made me cry like..a lot. But again we do not expect a happy ending do we? Well I've learned my lesson now and surly we do not always get a happy ending after all.

The thing I was waiting for throughout the movie was the appearance of dear Frodo, but then I thought to myself and said  "Frodo was not there when all this happened , it was Bilbo back in his strong youthful years" .

Aside from that, I literally got goosebumps when the battle actually started, it was such a strong approach and the Orcs, god they scare me..they really do I. I mean ever since the hideous looking creatures from "The Lord of the rings", the people that actually assembled these creepy characters deserve something like really huge! They did such a fabulous job creeping me out and this always gets me to think " How did the actual Hobbit writer think of these people like back in time". It's just astonishing to be honest, it sort of boosts my confidence to actually be creative in my own way and not think normally, and that's a very positive thing.

One last thing, I'm kind of at it now that the Hobbit trilogy is perfectly over but I can not not mention the Elves and their grace. The Elves are just another story to this glamorous trilogy, they are just graceful tall skilled creatures and I had to praise their super accurate assembly during their battle preparations. That was amazing! A million props to that!

And that's a wrap to the one and only Hobbit dear old Mr. Bilbo Baggins.
