Now, here
I am reviewing the third book of the Frieda Klein series. Yet again
Nicci French did not disappoint me..this book was again another reason
for me to try and read different genres and go for a change.
It took me some time to actually find time to read this book because of all the school work I have on my hands, but I insisted on taking a few minutes to read a few pages each day and boy wasn't that difficult. I couldn't stop reading, I literally couldn't, it's just the language and characters draw me in every time.
There is one note I would like to make out, when I was halfway through the book I kind of lost interest and started skimming through the pages, because it felt like I don't really know how to make it out but I think I was already aware of what was going on at some point and just started skimming. However, when I got to the confessions part - right about the end - that was really intense and super unexpected.
What's keeping me reading ( I'm about to start the last book in this series) is how Frieda Klein is fighting to change, it's like she's going back and forth and is uncertain of what she really wants. It's like she wants to move on and live her life the way she used to, but then she finds out that's never going to happen again, considering how she's always seeking the truth and tracing events back to where their origin. I mean take the serial killer's case in this book ( not trying to spoil or anything) but Frieda was able to solve a case the police was not aware of to begin with! W.O.W <3
That's about it for this book, again Nicci French never fail to impress me!
